The main task involved prefabricating a section of steel casing, 10 mm thick and with a nominal diameter (DN) of 1350, at our metal fabrication shop in Vénissieux.
On site, the old pipe was removed, and a new DN1350 connecting flange was welded in place before the new section was hoisted into position and connected.
During major shutdowns, managing concurrent operations is a challenge we successfully overcame in collaboration with the other companies on site. This teamwork and adaptability were essential to successfully completing our tasks in a complex environment.
At the end of this three-week maintenance shutdown, which mobilized approximately 700 personnel on the platform, Fouré Lagadec won the 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲̀𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝘂 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝗲́𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲́ established by the client. 🥇
This recognition underscores our commitment to safety. Working closely with our client ADISSEO, we were able to maintain a high level of operational excellence throughout this shutdown.
